The French Market on Koh Tao only opened in 2019

but has become one of the most well-known eating establishments on the island.

Located on the main road in Mae Haad, The French Market Koh Tao opens early to serve freshly baked butter and chocolate croissants, empanadas, and other artisan pastries. Larger breakfasts such as omelettes and sandwiches are also available for order, along with coffees of your choosing. TFM has become well-known for their daily lunch specials. Each day, a different meal is available at a discounted price. The half rotisserie chicken with homestyle French fries is a favourite, as well as the raclette on a roasted potato with ham and salami. During the evening, the restaurant also has high-quality steaks served with potatoes, meat and cheese boards, as well as fondue.

The newest addition to The French Market Koh Tao is Pizza Nano. The pizzas are freshly prepared on order with topping choices ranging from spicy salami, Parma or Paris ham, gorgonzola, or feta cheese. In addition to the excellent entrees and bakery items, TFM also has bottles of wine for sale. Red, white, and rosé wines are carefully selected from international sellers and make an excellent accompaniment to any meal. Many wines can be sold by the glass but are often more enjoyed by the bottle. The French Market Koh Tao is also a gathering place to play pétanque in the early afternoons. Teams can play friendly matches, each delicious French fare, and drink fine wine. Bon appétit!
