Shore diving at Calypso is possible for most of the year, and customers can jump into the water for a shallow, deep, day or night dive straight from the beach or the boat. A diverse range of Koh Tao’s marine life can be found here, including sea turtles or, if you are lucky, maybe even a humphead parrotfish. Calypso starts their dive trips a little later than other shops and mostly dives on the east side of the island so that you can avoid busy and crowded times and dive at a more leisurely pace.
Aqualung dive equipment is used and is regularly serviced in-house to ensure the safety standards are met. Customers can also ask for their own Aqualung equipment to be serviced during their trip. In addition, you can rent snorkelling gear from the shop to enjoy and explore the ocean yourself or tag along with the dive boat. Families can also have a relaxing time without worrying about their children as a babysitter can be hired through the shop. Beach and road cleanup activities are often organized at Calypso Diving, so customers are welcome to join or observe their government-approved coral restoration project in Tanote bay, Koh Tao.

As a quiet, picturesque sandy beach with a few restaurants and resorts on Tanote Bay, tourists can experience a different sunrise every morning and never lose their magic. Customers can also rent a kayak or hike to one of the nearby exciting spots of Koh Tao such as Secret Rock and Tanote Peak Viewpoint.
